Editing Inventory for Individual Products
To update the inventory for a specific product:
- Go to Products → All products in the Storeshop Dashboard.
- Use the search bar to find the product you want to update.
- Instead of clicking on the product name, click the number under the Inventory column.
- A pop-up will appear where you can input the desired stock quantity.
- Enter the new stock level and click Update to save your changes.
This method allows you to quickly adjust the inventory levels for individual products without needing to edit each product’s page.
How to Access Inventory Settings
To edit your Inventory Settings:
- Go to Settings → Order & Fulfillment.
- Select Inventory settings from the menu.
This will bring you to the page where you can adjust all the relevant inventory settings for your store.
Configuring inventory settings in Storeshop allows you to control how inventory information is displayed across your store. These settings are divided into Simple Settings and Advanced Settings, giving you flexibility to tailor the display based on your store’s needs.

Simple Settings
In Simple Settings, you can manage how inventory is displayed on both product pages and product list pages.
Product Page Settings
On the Product Page, you can adjust the following settings:
- Hide stock for non-login users: This option ensures that stock levels are hidden from visitors who are not logged in.
- Show inventory status in product detail: This will show customers whether a product is in stock or out of stock when they view the product page.
- Show inventory count in product detail: When enabled, this displays the exact available quantity of the product on the product page.
Product List Page Settings
On the Product List Page, you can configure the following settings:
- Show “In stock” in product list: This will display whether a product is available in the product list.
- Show “Not in stock” in product list: This shows whether a product is out of stock directly in the product list.
Inventory Management
Under Inventory Management, you’ll find the Make Storeshop Master for Inventory option. When enabled, this setting allows Storeshop to manage your inventory directly, which is especially useful if you don’t have an integrated ERP or accounting system. Inventory is then controlled through the Storeshop Dashboard.
If you have an ERP or accounting system integration, inventory levels will be automatically synced, so you do not need to enable this option.
Advanced Settings
In Advanced Settings, you’ll find the same Make Storeshop Master for Inventory option as under the Inventory Management section. If you are using an ERP integration, you can leave this setting disabled.
Inventory Display Rules
Under Advanced Rules, you can create custom inventory display rules. This feature allows you to define how inventory is shown based on stock quantities and assign custom colors and text.
For example, you can set up rules such as:
- 0 items in stock: Display “Ingen lagerbeholdning” with a color of your choice.
- 1-10 items in stock: Display “Nesten tomt” in a custom color.
- 10-100 items in stock: Display “MASSE” in a color that fits your store’s theme.
These rules help visually communicate stock levels to customers, making it easier for them to understand product availability.
